Specterwood
The Specterwood is a huge forest that dominates much of the northernmost reaches of the Tian Xia kingdom of Shenmen. Before the fall of Imperial Lung Wa, the Specterwood was one of the most valuable assets of Shenmen: the officials of Lung Wa cared little for what happened within Shenmen just as long as the lumber from the Specterwood continued to flow. The forest's name comes from its reputation for hauntings and other appearances of ghostly spirits and undead, particularly during the summer months. Residents of local villages such as Willowshore refer to these months as the "season of ghosts".
