Sea Glass

Sea Glass is a material forged in Thalasia in the town of Gelas Laut. 
It is a tough ice substance found deep under the thick layers of ice in the north. Once tempered and worked on by individuals in the town it becomes a material that is as hard as steel and able to endure heavy blows and assaults. Sea Glass is used in the armour and weapons of many in Thalasia and has even become so incorporated into the culture of the nation that it has begun to appear as a characteristic in many Soul Arms as they have adapted and evolved generation by generation. Sea Glass is generally used in heavier armours due to it's lack of flexibility and it is also utilised mostly for bludgeoning weapons. Sea Glass once tempered looks like regular glass but is more flexible in design and bursts with sections of blue and green giving it flair and a dramatic design.

Access & Availability

Readily available in certain parts of Thalasia but there is a concern about the dwindling number of artisans who can successfully work with Sea Glass.

Complexity

It is a complex feat of blacksmithing to create sea glass weapons and armour.

Discovery

Discovered in Gelas Laut through experimenting with the strange nature there and infusing it with unique spells and ingenious alchemy.
