The Relationships of the Titans

The relationships between the primal titans were nowhere near to perfect. There were love triangles, love chains, and unhealthy couples.

Parthenope and Protogonia were a couple, though the Titaness of Constellations was mainly in love with the Titaness of the Ocean due to the reflection of herself that she saw in Prophane's waters. Phegos longed to be with Protogonia and be recognized as one among the stars, though the constant overhanging and jealousy of Skotea and her pre-existing relationship with Prophane drove away the Titaness of Constellations.

After creating the great palace atop Mount Othrys, Garkritos was pleased by the warmth of the hearth of Agapias. He built a house of pillars for the Titan of Hearth and Fire and himself. While he did enjoy the company of Garkritos at first, he found the Titan of Pillars and Chains to be overbearing, possessive, and even abusive, such as Skotea's relationship with Phegos, though this was not as obvious due to Garkritos attempting to remove his contact with the other titans and keeping him within their home.

Surprisingly, the relationship between the Titan of Chaos and the Titaness of Fate was a simple one. Arasta could sometimes see what Thelygenes would do, even while being unpredictable. This amused Thelygenes. Additionally, the fact that Arasta could not always see what Thelygenes would do fascinated her.

Eventually, Thylea and Kentimane became tired of the bickering of the other titans and left Mount Othrys and Elysium for the Material Plane.
