Session 046: The Chasm, Part 1: The Descent Report
General Summary
Hulgnir healed Ollidak of the madnesses he felt within him. Buying several everburning globes from the market for 10 GP a piece, the Dragonlords descended into the Chasm. Hulgnir spoke of a vision he had of: Sydon, Vallus, & Pythor, in chains & covered in blood.
The Dragonlords escaped notice of several sharks that were swimming in the same area. They came up to a cave where Theron saw the markings of several humanoid sized crab creatures like what they fought with the Merrow Warchief.
They saw a plateau, & a Mermaid was sitting there. She was a ghost, Theron spoke to her & she was willing to share her information for an oath to slay her husband who was cursed into a crab by Lutheria a decade ago, she'd possess one of them on oath to do nothing but inform & leave when they were done. Theron wasn't willing to do so on the information she was willing to provide.
They saw on the next planteau several sharks sleeping the Dragonlords went around them & soon came to the deep underwater pressure preventing their movement down. They had half speed at that point.
Soon they came up to the a very dark space, & were set upon by 2 Sea Serpents, Several Cetus' & Giant Sharks. The Dragonlords fought them off, & took a short rest. Pyra was almost out of spell slots, so he used many of his hit dice to get his hit points back.
Will the Dragonlords be able to continue down before their time runs out?
Will the Dragonlords be able to defeat Scylla?
