Session 015: Islands of Yonder & The Golden Heart. The Veronica problem Report

General Summary

Session 15: Island of Yonder & the Veronica problem The Chosen made their way to the Library. Gaius made his way out of the ruined Gygan city, & asked what they wanted. Jekkar asked for his armour left from his long absence from the Dragonlords. Gaius only wanted his dragon to be in love with him too. Gaius let the chosen in & they saw two Dragons (a large & huge, Euadne suspected that they were a young adult & adult Dragon). The smaller one is Veronica's. Jekkar spoke to the Dragon & she seemed to be more favorable to Gaius. So he gave him his boots of speed. Veronica gave John a rapier that was next to her Dragon, his Dragonslayer weapon. The Chosen asked Gaius, for the gear to the Antikythera device. He demanded an Oath to never attack Sydon for it. The Chosen refused. Veronica spoke to him in private & came back with a different offer. The gear for assistance in defeating Lutheria. Afterwards they would be enemies fighting to the death. Hulgnir swore that oath on behalf of the Chosen. The Chosen worked on their food issue & were able to make a fish net & able to get 100 rations of fish in three days of fishing. Making their way to the Golden Heart the Chosen found some herbs so they can start seasoning their food. The Chosen saw some deer when they got off the Ultros onto the Island. The deer unused to mortals were easily hunted. The Chosen were able to get 6 deer (270 rations). They put them into barrels that were enchanted to cast gentle repose on things placed in it. The Chosen made their way to Thylea's tree, collected some apples that were magical (didn't rot until bitten & had an effect like a healing potion). They asked the Thylea's Tree questions about the constellations & were given the constellarions to several islands. Thylea gave a gift of a golden bag of holding that was designed to store creature parts. The Chosen gathered 3 barrels of olives (3 PCs with 1 day of work can make 1 unit of the oil of blessing). The Chosen decided to head to Fire Island next, to seek the prisoner. The Chosen were about to set off & Pythor told them about the divinity & power of the animals on this island. The Chosen went on a hunt, they found: 2 golden lions, a golden ram, & a golden goat. Ollidak was able to hog tie the Golden Ram, & capture it. The party took care of the other divine animals. They sacrificed: Golden lion 1: Pythor Golden lion 2: Kyrah Golden Goat: Thylea The Chosen were gifted with the pelt of two golden lions after their sacrifice. Theron & Euadne saw Veronica put one of the Golden Lion pelts in a bag on her bonded Blue Dragon(thinking it was likely a young adult or adult.
