Session 001: Meetings & The Corrupted Boar Report
General Summary
Session 1.
The party met at an in called 'The Sour Vintage' is a traditional country inn located about 20 miles east of the city of Estoria. Having been summoned by Kyrah, who wants to hire you all for 'a difficult task', & has promised a sizeable reward, & more information about the Oracle's prophecy.
She told the party that their was a giant boar rampaging around the countryside & slaughtering everything in its path. She offered a quest to the party: slay the boar & offer it up to the gods as a sacrifice.
She informed the party that she hired two hunters: Javon, & Taneias. Who would be meeting them outside the inn, in the morning.
Kyrah offered the party a golden arrow each (worth 25gp) for slaying the boar.
The party accepted her quest.
Talking to some injured hunters about the giant boar. They learnt that this group had tried & failed to defeat the boar. Discovering that they left a man behind to die didn't sit well with, Kaohdia.
The party sleeped in the inn, Kyrah having paid for them, & left with the hunters & Kyrah in the morning.
The party made their way through the countryside passing many ravaged farms, settlements, all attacked by the boar. The party eventually tracked the boar to its cave.
A trap was at the mouth of the boar's cave, before the boar was drawn to them by their Barbarian, John.
The party rolled initiative.
The boar got stuck in the trap, & everyone attacked fighting the boar, until the boar was bloodied & sleep was cast on the boar successfully.
The boar being killed quickly afterwards. Earning the party 700 XP, 100 each.
Trophies were successfully taken from the boar (hoove, tusks, & liver).
The party voted on who they were going to sacrifice the boar to & Kyrah Goddess of Music was chosen.
The sacrifice occured, the boar disappearing quickly, & Kyrah confessed to the party that she was on fact Kyrah Goddess of Music & swore an Oath of Protection to the party.
(700XP for completing the quest, looting the boar's cave, putting the bodies in the cave to rest with gold for the Ferryman, & sacrificing to a god/titan, 100 each.)
1 fame point for everyone for defeating the boar.
Returning to the Sour Vintage to tell the hunters that their fallen friend was laid to rest. The party received a repayment of the 2 gold coins. Oren picked them up. Kyrah followed the party, saying she would remain by their side until she fulfilled her Oath of Protection to the party.

Killed the corrupted boar & gave a burial to the men left behind.
