House Fairborn
House Fairborn was the last ruling house of Kavania. They ruled Kavania for over six hundred years. With a few exceptions, their rule was benevolent and without corruption. They have direct bloodlines with the Ancient Kavanians. The Fairborn sigil was a crowned heart impaled with a downward dagger. Their seat was Fairhome. Their words were "Fair As Our Enemy's Hearts".
Culture
The Fairborns, like many great Kavanian houses, were an honor culture. Their leaders followed royal and common law, their knights upheld the code of Chivalry, and the lowborn provided the manpower and labor to uphold the way of life. The Fairborn family were loosely followers of the Forgotten Gods.History
In 1111, King Obed Fairborn allowed his nephew Kelmar to create his own house as a cadet branch to House Fairborn. Kelmar chose the name Fairchild, and the seat of the recently claimed Green Harbor. In times after the fall of House Fairborn, the two houses became somewhat synonymous to one another, as House Fairchild held out the strongest against the invasion and held the most influence in civil wars to follow.Recent Events
