Sami Gardner
Sami Gardner is the proprietor of the Gardner Inn, a popular and successful inn just inside the walls of the Town of Oakfield. Sami Gardner is a quiet innkeeper who likes a quiet inn, so there are never any musicians or dancing within the common room (although the odd song, sung quietly, is sometimes heard from patrons).
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Lean, a bit stooped, and not the stout shape many Halflings have. Short, even for a Halfling, at only 4'9" tall and weighing a scant 108 lbs.
Facial Features
Thick brown curly hair, bright blue eyes and a very fair complexion.
Identifying Characteristics
Has a prominent scar on his right cheek just under his eye that he is particularly conscious of.
Specialized Equipment
Sami is always seen to wear a pair of hammered silver bracers on his arms at all times. When he is asked about them (which is amost never), he simply says they were a gift and does not elaborate further. Sami, being such a quiet and reserved member of the Oakfield community, does not seem the type to want (or ever need) the protection that bracers were designed to provide. None the less, he is NEVER seen without them.

Sami was once rumored to be a prolific adventurer, and was said to have travled extensively in the far west and far north beyond the frontiers of Cobal. He does not talk about his past, even with the few friends he has in Oakfield, but there is evidence to support the rumors. One is the prominent scar on his face, which is almost exactly the sizee and shape of an arrow wound, and the other are the silver bracers he is always seen to wear at all times of the night and day. Another mystery that hangs about Sami's past is the fact that he comes from the poorest part of the City of Rolar and has no family that anyone is aware of. It makes some people wonder where he got the means to build and operate the Garnder Inn in the first place.

Sami is very averse to any sort of noise and commotion. He does not hire singers or allow loud singing within the Inn. Occasionally he will allow a softly-sung song from a patron, but only rarely. He has absolutely no tolerance for violence or fighting in his establishment.

Sami has as his hired help at the inn a giant of a man named Thick Will. Will, whose actual name is completely unknown, is a massive Human standing nearly 7' tall and weighing nearly 300 lbs (without an ounce of fat to his name). He is hugely muscled and immensley strong. To the best of anyone's knowledge, he has never spoken a word himself and only responds to instructions from Sami himself.
