Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Maxin was never a particularly active or energetic man, and tended to display a sickly nature. Prone to experiencing very labored breathing whenever he exerted himself to any sort of degree, he was not well-suited to riding, fighting or hunting.

Personal history
After a rather sedentary childhood, Maxin found himself very unsuited to participate in the fighting that erupted with the Orc invasion of 146 AF. His father, King Lothar, immediately recognized this fact and named Maxin his regent while the King led the defense of the realm.
Education
Maxin was incredibly well read, especially for a King. He spent several hours every day just reading, and one hour just before he retired to bed doing nothing but writing. He was quite capable with numbers and equations and could speak Arian like a native. He could also speak Gnomish and was even able to understand some Elvish.

Maxin married Lauren Carrel in 148 AF, bringing the kingdoms of Aria and Imesse into much closer and more cordial relations.
Religious Views
Prior to his marriage in 148 AF, Maxin had never shown much attraction to the Pantheon of Heaven faith, but his religious fervor grew after his union with Lauren. He regularly offered sacrifice and prayers and attended all festivals and holy day celebrations until his death in 172 AF.
