Holman am Frigani
Lord Baron Holman am Frigani
Holman am Frigani was the 4th Baron of Wennick. His rule as Baron was nearing its end when the years of the Black Famine began and the rebellion against the Mykalli King, Thane, began. Holman was 52 years old and four years into his reign when the rebellion reached the plains of Wennick. The Baron remained loyal to Thane right up until the coronation of Josso am Maxalli as King of Imesse, at which point he swore fealty and service to Josso as the rightful King.
This loyalty to Thane was a real source of contention within his House, however. His son, Dilman, chose to fight alongside the Maxalli rebels almost at once, in spite of Holman's refusal to allow any member of his family to take up arms against the King. Dilman left the city of Wennick, and nearly an entire regiment of lancers followed him into the ranks of the rebels. Dilman acquitted himself admirably during the war, however, and when Holman swore his fealty to Josso, the two were reconciled and peace was restored to the Ancient and Noble House of Frigani.
