Dilman am Frigani was the 5th Baron of Wennick. He was a commander of a regiment of cavalry fighting with the rebel leader Josso am Maxalli against the King Thane am Mykalli and gained much fame and renown during the war. His father, Holman am Frigani, the reigning Baron of Wennick at the time of the rebellion, forbid Dilman to join the rebel army, but Dilman left to fight anyway, taking only those knights who willing chose to follow him.
Dilman gained much renown and earned the new King's respect with his daring and effective cavalry tactics. The riders of his regiment were seasoned, committed and displayed a degree of honor and loyalty that impressed Josso greatly. The new King made Dilman an important member of his inner council of advisors and the two had a long and productive association.
