Gilbreth Mollus

His Magesty Gilbreth Mollus

Gilbreth Mollus was the King of the Kingdom of Minsloth during the Ohnni Conquest of Imesse. His was one of the first territories to fall to Benn Ohn and his resistance to Ohn's growing power and influence resulted in the death both of his sons, his younger brother and more than 3,000 of his men in only a few short hours of battle.

Personal history

Gilbreth had ruled Minsloth for just over 7 years and had pushed the limits of his power and authority from the City of Minsloth north all the way to the City of Jorick. He maintained a standing force of cavalry and foot that numbered 3,500 (at least) and were actively encamped about 15 miles north (downstream) of Jorick where he was gathering dozens of boats and barges, presumably for an armed crossing of the Caldar into Wessridge territory.

Benn Ohn preemptively crossed the Caldar some 40 miles downstream of the Minsloth encampment and force-marched his army of 5,000 around and behind the army of Gilbreth. In less than three hours of brutal assaults, the army of Ohn had utterly defeated the Minsloth forces, killed Gilbreth and his sons, Gildan and Goddard, and watched as the remaining 500 or so mounted nobles fled the field back towards Jorick.

In the months that followed, Gilbreth's younger brother, Aelbreth Mollus, took up the mantle of King of Minsloth and spent the next year fortifying the City and stockpiling food and provisions within its walls.
