Lotus Rose Territory

The Eastern area of Thousand. More affluent than the other houses and with an emphasis on art and craft, the territories of Lotus Rose are often pretty to look at. It isn't without its underbelly - claustrophobic districts filled with underpaid labourers - but the unsightly areas are better hidden than most. Players have visited the following districts in Lotus Rose:

Golden Lotus Way

West of Lotus Rose, bordering Golden Sun. An artisan district filled with workshops, but little else of note. Tera has a tiny apartment here, and her old workplace the Porcelain Guild is not far away.

Salt Exchange

Central to Lotus Rose territory and run by the House itself, this is effectively one big administrative area in which brokers put customers in touch with traders. Almost anything can be acquired or requested here, so long as you have all the proper permits and forms of course. The Salt Exchange is never anything less than manically busy and deafeningly loud.

House Umberflame HQ

Not far from the Salt Exchange, this is the headquarters of a wealthy mercantile house. The House is known to patronise the priests of Cat Sita and some believe this is the reason for their great fortune. This House came to the attention of the group when searching for a cure to lycanthropy as its leader, Lusu Laohu, is believed to be a weretiger. The group never pursued this lead any further, but they still have a paper favour of the House given to them by a priestess of Cat Sita, which may grant them an audience with Lusu if they wish.

Saffron Road

One of the oldest trade routes in Thousand, this area has since been closed to all trade wagons and exists as an exclusive and affluent residential area. The families who live there now likely made their fortune trading along Saffron Road hundreds of years ago. Many 'old money' noble residences are found here, but among them is the Tenshi Ancestral Estate in which Tera's family lives. Due to financial problems the estate is in disrepair.

Song District

An artistic district run by the prosperous House Song, this district is known for its abundance of cherry blossoms. The Blue Orchid Society make their headquarters here in a picturesque building owned by Shula Song.

Wisteria District

Next to the Song district and also unofficially owned by the family, this area houses many of Song's lesser family members and servants. Among them is Meimi Soone who lives here in a modest apartment.

Light Unending

Far East of Lotus Rose, in one of Thousand's rare borders to the ocean is a small and innocuous residential district. It's only notable feature is the temple to Karada that looks out onto the sea. Hearing that the temple housed a great healer the group investigated further and found it housed an aasimar - the only other one of her kind Tera has come across - and the group were sworn to secrecy.
