House of the Golden Sun

One of the 'good' major houses. It leads the courts of justice, creates and enforces the law and oversees internal diplomacy. This makes it one of the most powerful Houses in Thousand, even compared to the other three. It is also thought to be the oldest.

One of its oldest and closest vassals is the House of the Dawnsworn, who stalwartly protect the highest ranking members of the House. It is also in charge of the Imperial Guard, as evidenced by the yellow-hued cloaks that they wear.

Notable NPCs:

Lord-Commander Tsun-Da: A venerable gold dragonborn, Tsun-Da is the highest ranking member of the highest ranking House in Thousand - almost equivalent to being the Emperor. He is the highest ranking judge in Thousand's complex legal system, though he only presides over the most serious of cases. He's also technically the head of the Imperial Guard, but this position is delegated to his son and heir, Tsun-Riu. Now approaching retirement age, Tsun-Riu is poised to take over as leader of the House of the Golden Sun.

Tsun-Riu: Son of Tsun-Da and next in line to lead the House. It is known to the group that there was recently an assassination attempt on Tsun-Riu, though this was fended off by the Dawnsworn and the Imperial Guard.
