The Orikian Mansion and the trials of blood

The party gathered again and found montegue who was enjoying the luxury of the Orikian Mansion while waiting for the party to reach him. He had a variety of gifts to give the party but at the same time Faiths ring of mindshielding lost all its power and red was freely being scryed on by a glowing green eye. That night many members of the party had dreams and nightmares that woke them in time for the crazed beholder entering the mansion. The party did battle with the creature and eventually after a BUNCH OF CLOSE CALLS the only casualty was cassius who was turned to stone by one of the creatures eye rays.   The next day aliana returned cassius to flesh again by using some of her revivify diamonds and the party made their way to banes land where they were put into the trials of blood that went from a dangerous but passable test by bane to an outright attempt by her to destroy the party in her trials. They passed however and found themselves in the ritual land of bane.
