The Second Wendigo Encounter

Expedition

Now equipped with knowledge of the wendigo's weakness, and with mysterious shards in hand, our adventurers traveled towards Cresthill and Lundy where the beast was first encountered .

On the way, the group encountered a small scouting party from the Karakses' forces. They used this opportunity to attempt to empower the Flameblade Shards by using the shards as impromptu daggers. This attempt appeared to work as the shards began to glow.   The creature was encountered in the now abandoned village of Cresthill, where numerous dead bodies identified as belonging to The Noble Army were scattered around the town. Our Party was well prepared and finally overwelled the fell beast with fire.   The party dragged the huge skull of the creature back to Captain Karsh at Honeywell Inn as proof of their deed.
