The First Wendigo Encounter

Expedition

Part of our party, along with Thavius Kreeg, was sent to the village of Lundy. When they nearly arrived, it was revealed that Thavius was an agent of Karakses undercover. A wendigo attacked as night descended and killed him and nearly everyone else.

At the request of the neighboring village of Cresthill which had lost contact with the small village of Lundy, Crossroads Investigation Company responded.   It became apparent that Thavius Kreeg had ulterior reasons for traveling in this direction, the group meeting up with soldiers of Karakses.   However, as night crept up on the group, before Thavius' group could attack the investigators, a wendigo made itself known, killing Thavius and Crystal Ball.   The rest of the group ran through the night before barely scraping into the safety of the town of Cresthill.
