Game rules

Checking on the Coriolis Discord, I read that the publishers are OK with players recreating tables, figures and data from the RPG source material where the only purpose is the facilitation of playing their game and I hereby promise this is my only intent with this article. Here I've taken the Year Zero Engine to modify the Coriolis rules for my own games - Doctor Weather
These are the various combinations of house rules and rules interpretations I use in my Coriolis games
GM STYLECovering how I GM the game: I struggled to adjust to a more narrative-style of GMing, so I made myself some help guides and use them all my games, irrespective of ruleset in play
CONVENTION HOUSE RULES
Convention house rules
I try to play RAW at conventions but there are a couple of small tweaks I still make because I honestly believe they make games run more smoothly
DANCER RULES
Dancer's Rules overview
Homebrew rules changes that assist me in creating a more narrative-styled game, speed up play and enhance players' confidence in their character's skills - named in honour of the Dancer, whose style and grace in the moment I aspire to   Dancer Rules incorporate everything within my convention house rules
1001 NIGHTS VARIANT
1001 Nights variant overview
Homebrew rules variant that emphasises Horizon culture and storytelling in the peoples' lives - here I've taken inspiration from other Year Zero engine games to bend Coriolis more towards its 1001 Nights influence and slightly away from its Firely roots, which is a complete personal preference, nothing more   My 1001 Nights variant incorporates everything within both my Dancer Rules and convention house rules
