Vleno System
A small star system with a spectral class G star. The star is very small compared to an average G class star but still burns quite brightly. This means the star is likely to use its fuel quickly, but that does not matter on the timescale that civilizations take place on.
The Vleno system has only 3 planets which all have relatively short semi-major axes. All 3 planets support life and occupy the same orbit, making it seem like the system was engineered by precursors. At the center of the star is a precursor artifact which appears to change the very nature of death for any creatures in the system. After dying, every creature is revived by the artifact, which will remotely regrow its body on the planet it died on, weeks after death. This effects every creature including the smallest microbes and the largest of bioships. However this artifact also projects a large barrier around the system which the HF has not managed to breach. They have not sent a Sovereign Light - Class Advanced Cruiser to this system yet.
All 3 of the habitable planets have unique life, but due to the very different environments of each planet, all of them have very different life (after dying, a creature's body might change slightly in order to adapt it to the rest of the biosphere). Olrate is an ocean planet, so it inhabits many aquatic species. Lerthol is a very hot lava planet, so its species have evolved to make use of the high temperatures. Ichnarna is an ice planet with species that are adapted to very cold life, but much of its biosphere is underground and lives in large geothermal vents. However, due to the effects of deva vu, the harkas are seen on all 3 planets, each taking up very different forms. Each of these harkas have become both advanced bioengineers and mechanical engineers, leading them to create a wide variety of biomechanical purposed organisms which they use to conquer other worlds. However, due to the nature of death in the system, losses were irrelevant and no side could conquer any planet. Eventually, these wars became so well automated that, after a point, war itself changed. It was no longer about nations or resources. War became a pointless waste of life and resources and not even the harkas can stop this now. The lawlessness of the trinary planets meant that purposed organisms turned against each other for food, though they will sometimes form alliances such as those with spacefaring synthetic creatures to reach other planets. Every organism now constantly searches for its own food, making the entire system resemble a single large ecosystem.
