Uukat Grenade Launcher

The Uukat was designed to have a high fire rate. Although it doesnt have an extremely long range due to the low velocity that all grenade launchers have, it remains powerful due to sheer volume of explosive fire. The grenade launcher is however logistically difficult as each round costs and weighs significantly more than regular bullet weapons. This is somewhat mitigated because individual Ukztlakat can wield a large number of grenades in their tentacles. They also have a significant potential for friendly fire especially in buildings as some grenades can bounce off walls.
As the grenade launcher was designed to be used with Ukztlakat anatomy, it can be extremely difficult for other races to use it. As grenade launchers are relatively quiet when they fire (apart from the explosions themselves) they can be used to attempt ambushes with a large number of grenades (using remote detonation grenades) from the trees present on some battlefields. When a large number of grenades are planted near the enemy, they can activate the grenades before shooting any survivors.
