Quesess
A Harkas belt nation of the Kulallara Belt (the innerworldian belt of the Beta Targos System)
Quesess is a fairly large nation, though not one occupying a massive volume of the ring world. As such, they have never achieved superpower status but they are significant for the economy of the belt.
Quesess specialises in trading with other nations. Although bioengineering largely reduces the value of trade, as all required resources are available everywhere, they mostly trade in information. They also archive the genomes of almost all other known organisms, allowing them to trade bioengineering capabilities as well. The genomes are stored in various purposed organisms inside a number of large asteroids which are well protected and guarded.
Quesess also has a large military of bioships and infantry to protect their nation and its interests. Using their 'archive', they can make limited use of most nations specialties militarily. This has earned them a reputation of being able to deploy any force at any moment, potentially using highly unpredictable strategies, but in reality they prefer diplomacy. Other nations are fairly scared of Quesess.
As an innerbelt nation, not all organisms would resist the intense temperature. They also use purposed organisms to transport DNA outside the innerworlds, though while within the innerworlds and transporting creatures that can withstand the temperature, they would often just move the creature itself as it is easier.
