Ol'natat Sniper

A large, powerful sniper rifle used by the Sulethis Republic. 
The Ol'natat has a very high power due to it being a railgun. Its rounds are propelled through both an advanced weapon chemical (advanced gunpowder) and through electromagnetism. This gives the weapon an immense muzzle velocity, and because the rounds are sometimes discarding sabots, this can give it an immense accuracy and even longer range. Although these sorts of rounds are less effective against organics, the ones fired by an Ol'natat are designed to shatter on impact, which causes it to splinter inside the body of a target and causes a lot of damage. It can penetrate bones like this with ease.
The very high muzzle velocity also means that they travel much faster than the speed of sound, so the round will impact its target before anyone in the area has heard the weapon fire.The weapon is however, large which makes it difficult to carry and not mobile. It also requires a very large power draw for the railgun to function, which is delivered by a large capacitor module that can be emptied and reloaded similar to the bullet magazine.
