Null Progenitors

The Progenitors behave slightly differently in the Void. Rather than immediately attacking all organics at sight, they are more docile. This is because they lose the ability to reproduce sapient beings that inhabit their bodies anyway, as the void cannot create souls. They are much less feared because any person killed by them are revived eventually. Due to this, they have the ability to hold relations with other factions in the void but despite this, sometimes progenitors might still kill other non infected beings, mostly for reproductive pleasure.   The Progenitors still posses archaeotech in the void. Due to this, they mostly cannot be challenged militarily apart from other factions with archaeotech. Anyone that is not Progenitor that comes into their borders are highly likely to be killed but they are more peaceful diplomatically. The Progenitor race has a decently large - but not massive - population. Notably, it is not increasing very fast because there are no progenitors in most other timelines (so there are no progenitors that can enter the void), but factions like the Hyperion Federation are present in almost all timelines. Due to this, precursor factions in general get a significant population disadvantage compared to the more current species.
