Negative Mass Reactor

A method by which the Tranal Nomads can manufacture negative mass more easily than other factions.
Negative Mass Reactors work by taking a hydrogen atom input and using a machine similar to a zero-point energy reactor to reduce the energy of the hydrogen atoms to below zero-point energy (the ZPE machine extracts energy from the area within its radius, which the hydrogen is sent through). The energy created by the ZPE reactors this way is used to perform the next operation: fusing the supercool hydrogen atoms in a cold fusion reactor, which causes the hydrogen atoms to plummet much further in negative energy. Again, the positive energy produced by the fusion reactor is used to power the machine itself and the ship.
Using the large amount of negative mass produced, the TN method of FTL relies on it and their reversible thrusters can provide another powerful use for it. Negative mass still falls down under gravity, but it might have some uses in various megastructures to keep them stable, or centered on large astronomical objects (recall that Dyson Sphere might float off center from the star, for example - though the TN does not build Dyson spheres). They have even weaponised negative mass and used it in shield generators.
