Iridescant

The leader title of the Republic of Vanadia.

The Vanadians have adopted a slightly more complicated system than that of other species. The Yunkad Coalition ensured this system was still efficient however.

In the Vanadian system, some votes can be slightly more impactful than others. This depends on how strongly an individual believes in the candidate. This is to prevent those who don't know what their voting for from interfering massively in the election while also not interfereing with their right to vote. They have managed this through the use of technology. They have been able to tell how significantly one believes in the leader through a several-minute process that I havent made up yet. 

After election the leader can serve a term of about 5-10 years at maximum depending on how much the people want them in charge.

The vanadian leader would often wear similarly confusing clothes, such as strange geometric patterns and colours. Other species might see them as entirely black if their sight range differs from that of Vanadians however. Some vanadian leaders have realized this and made these patterns in many UV and IR colours as well to confuse more species.

This role is named such to be confusing to other species.

OOC Fun Fact: I came up with the 'Iridescant' name while trying to find a name for the Trevan Alliance leader title. I was mixing 'Iron' and 'President' in my head and ended up with something that sounded something similar to 'Iridescent' and decided it fits the bill as a Vanadian leader name.
