Exterminator Class Carrier

The Exterminator class, following Accuilax doctrine, is not armed with offensive missiles but instead the fighters are designed to ram into an enemy ship. Driving the fighters would be close to suicide, so they instead made them remote controlled drones. This does mean they can be softkilled by ewar measures, but some usually score hits due to sheer volume of fire. The drones are, of course, also mounted with ranged weapons like smaller offensive missiles, chainguns and plasma cannons.
The carrier itself also has melee capability, but that is not often used. It can be very devastating when used against a target in retrograde orbit. The immense force on the target is such that it is often split in half and the crew are killed from extremely high acceleration. The latter would normally happen to the Exterminator as well, but the main engine is designed as such that it can create a sudden, extremely large burn which cancels the extreme momentum loss form ramming. It is adjusted to burn exactly strong enough to cancel the acceleration, keeping the crew safe. Still, a strong force is felt and some crew members are sometimes knocked off their feet. Few deaths can occur because of this. This 'auxiliary burner' is not capable of burning for more than a few seconds and is only capable of burning at extremely high speed so it cant be used for regular movement (otherwise the crew experience fatally large force).
