Accuilax

The only species of the Accuilax Purifiers.
They have a very powerful psionic ability they can even utilize away from civilization. They have a few purple bioluminescent parts on their bodies. Their eyes glow purple, for example.
Using this psionic ability, they can induce thoughts into others and telepathically communicate. Some very skilled users of psionic ablities could do far more up to and including taking control of another's body. The accuilax have a relatively humanoid body. They are considerably lankier, yet remain quite strong due to psionic amplification of their muscles. They have 3 eyes, 2 of which are used for regular vision and the large 3rd eye on the forehead is used for psionics. Accuilax hearing is noticeably higher quality towards objects that are nearby, and lower quality to anything that is far away. Accuilax require a lot of high energy food to sustain the psionic attunement which they use constantly just to keep the body intact. As they no longer depend on any biosphere, their digestive system has been made very efficient despite the fast metabolism of the species. Furthermore, they eat mostly high energy compounds that most carbon based organisms would not be able to digest. This leads to a relatively high body temperature, causing them to be more easily found through infrared detection methods.
Basic Information
Genetics and Reproduction
They have lost the ability to reproduce naturally. Instead, they psionically link up to several other Accuilax nearby and perform a psionic ritual that builds several more Accuilax along with their souls.
They do this quite often, leading their species to reproduce rapidly.
Growth Rate & Stages
Newborn Accuilax are already at full growth stage at 'birth', but must be educated.
