Emperor Halarx
Emperor of the Alti Dominion. Halarx wanted to unify the galaxy under a single banner. Like most emperors.
Halarx, however, was an unusual emperor withi the way he wanted to go about this. Halarx saw all the previous attempts at military conquest by the other emperors. Obviously, most of them failed. Halarx wanted to unify the galaxy by diplomacy. If he could not do so under a single star nation, maybe he could using an international alliance?
Still, he saw more sucess than the average Alti emperor. He founded the Galactic Alliance of Trading between Races. Using GATR, he did manage to 'subjugate' one race, which in reality made a profit from that move.

Personal history
Halarx was born on the crown jewel of the Alti Dominion, the Kevra System. He wanted to stay living in this system for life.
Early in his life, he grew up in a surprisingly ordinary family. He did not come from a very rich background like many Alti emperors.
