Cricket Morningbird

An Eptha that lives on the planet Mauray.
Cricket has been known to obtain a powerful magic ability. Most eptha are strongly magically attuned, but Cricket is specially powerful. Although she tries to use this power for good, that can be highly subjective. Her culture says that she uses it for good, but it involves killing other sentient species sometimes.
Other races seek expansion, which results in environmental destruction. As Eptha culture demands that the environment must be kept intact at all costs, Cricket uses her powers to repel those who would have otherwise caused deforestation. This has led to the deaths of more than a few humans, Suons and Ulkon. They try to fight back, but Cricket has adopted a surprise attack doctrine where she hides in trees, using her very small body size to remain hidden. When they are nearby, Cricket then opens fire. This terrifies every other race in a large radius.
However, this means that many forests that would have otherwise been destroyed remains intact. Cricket has a very large bounty over her head because of this. Several bounty hunters have made attempts to kill her, but they never returned. Of course, Cricket herself kills them. The killing results in a lot of mental trauma at times. She regrets having to kill people, often those screaming for their lives, but is seen as a nessessity.
