Crest of Discovery

A badge given very rarely in Suon culture.
It is given for making significant discoveries in science, technology or any other place. For example, finding a piece of Archaeotech.   The badge itself resembles a star with the number of points being however many contributed to the discovery. For example, if a team of 6 scientists earned it, they would obtain stars with 6 points. The crest is intended to be worn on the chest and attached to any shirt, but it is typically stored away in the receivers house in reality. Most of the recipients are quite modest   A Crest of Discovery is extremely well detailed and very few species can see the smallest features. Yet a Crest is very strong structurally and is likely to stand the test of time for many thousands of years. Although a suon would probably outlive one, they would be able to request another to be fabridated in a replicator, which is how new Crests are made. The techprint is created in a virtual universe program and decorated to an extremely detailed degree. They can also be decorated with an advanced, very strong fabric which can come in a multitude of colours and patterns which are often coloured depending on details such as the field of science in which the discovery was made. The fabric also sometimes has this information printed on it as well, the name of recipient, ect.
