Biological Teleportation

The ability to teleport short distances by making use of the person's microbiome when a specific species is present inside them. Also known as Biological Blinking. 

The Kranol Quantum-Tunelling Bacteria is a very unique lifeform that can influence its own quantum probability waves to teleport themselves via quantum tunneling. This organism is normally parasitic, and cannot teleport its host, but the Unified Arkan Council was largely inspired by this organism to develop a symbiotic organism which can extend the quantum tunneling ability to its host, as well as itself.

Rather than being based on magnetic monopole matter like almost all Tebburus life, this organism is carbon based and compatible with almost all Harkas. They have also engineered versions compatible with other species as well.

The Hyperion Ethics Committee had to restrict its spread as it means that many people can now reach various locations that were not reachable before but its potential military uses were undeniable; they could teleport short distances without creating huge energy signatures or bright flashes, and it only required some energy from the host and concentration. Using it can cause exhaustion and they need to concentrate to use it as well, if there is anything distracting nearby such as if the person is under suppression, they probably cant use it unless they are very well trained to focus heavily on teleporting.

All bacteria of this species exist in a BEC state of matter. They are all quantum-entangled to each other, creating a single large coherent entity. They inhabit all areas of the hosts body as each one can only extend their range by several centimeters. This way, they can all communicate to each other instantly and ensure the entire host teleports to the same destination at the same time, which keeps their entire body together. Using it also takes practice.

There is a risk of leaving equipment behind after teleportation. As many Harkas are excellent bioengineers that rarely carry mechanical equipment, they didn't take this into account. Any soldiers who have this species in their body also often get their equipment modified to have this organism and extend the BEC quantum tunneling range to the equipment.
