Kranol Quantum-Tunelling Bacteria

Kranol are not capable of propulsion in the classical sense. Instead, they rely on quantum tunelling for movement. They can tunnel up to about 1 metre once every 4 seconds. They have found uses in various applications, surprisingly, perhaps the most controversial of which is the use in biological weapons. Thankfully, these were never deployed during the Tebburus Unification War, but would be exceptionally powerful as, when infecting a host, they can simply teleport away from any immune system reactions which makes it difficult for the body to combat.
Kranol are sometimes also used in conventional weaponry, as the quantum tunneling capability can be modified to trigger whenever desirable, and perhaps teleport through layers of armour or shields, but this is also controversial because of the high probability of accidental infection, both by the target and those firing the weapon.
The quantum tunelling ability arises from their ability to interfere with their own quantum wavefunction and expand its 'probability wave' very far before eliminating other probabilities until the probability it teleports to its desired location becomes very high. This process can be highly energy intensive, so kranol are often infectious and prefer to leech off larger creatures, a host, for energy.
