Ashe Followers
A faction residing in the Arcturus Galaxy. While they are not as strong as the 2 superpowers of the galaxy, the Republic of Miasi and Alti Dominion, the Ashe Followers is still seen as quite powerful. They possess mid-level technology compared to the average Arcturus faction.
The AF is driven by their religion, oppressively forcing their religion onto other star nations. They have developed large industries compared to other factions of a simlar size. This allows them to construct large quantities of ships, but they tend ot be of a lower average quality compared to other factions. As the Ashe Followers have access to a lot of resources, their ships are often well armoured, if weakly shielded. A lot of the Ashe Followers is goverened according to The Ashe Text. As such, the rich are careful to not exploit the masses for religious reasons, otherwise they risk being called a heretic. Although the outside perception of the Ashe see them as very evil, as they actively try to spread their religion, the Ashe see themselves as saviors of the galaxy, bringing Ashe's light into a galaxy of darkness. The Ashe Followers cultures themselves try to treat other Followers with respect and courtesey, generally. They have not achieved anything like the 'perfect society' that their god Ashe wants them to become, however. The HF in particular has taken interest in Ashe. Though they dont follow Ashe, they have become very curious about the very unique worldview of these cultures. There are very few recorded incidents of other factions holding a worldview seemingly implying some person created the universe, none of which are more powerful than the Ashe. Of course the Ashe was willing ot cooperate with HF culture archivists, even though the HF was so bound to and constrained by science. It was obvious to the Ashe Followers that the HF is far more powerful than any other entity in Arcturus, so they have somewhat become a priority for Ashe culture influencers. There are very few groups in the HF that follow Ashe, but those populations exist. Their ships, being so heavily fortified in armour, tend to be difficult to destroy with most weapons. Despite their armour, the Ashe can afford to consume a lot of fuel in their maneuvers which allows them to remain on par with other factions of their technology in acceleration. Their ground forces are fairly similar, but they rely on vehicles more than infantry.
