'Pion' ATV
Light ATV used by the Hyperion Federation designed for firing long range cruise missiles. Fast, it can fire projectiles which stick to objects and neutralize all gravity for objects near them.
They have become a symbol for the Federation as they were the first ATV built by any faction. Fast and powerful, they could even take a few hits before going down. Despite being an artillery vehicle, they could be used on the front line.
They could be used in large numbers.
Despite the Pion holding the ATV title, it is wheeled. It also has a large photon drive mounted to the rear.
They are highly multipurpose and reliable, easy to deploy and still powerful. It has earned a reputation for being very commonly used by the HF because of this, but if the missiles take hits they can explode and cause a chain reaction destroying the entire vehicle. This is usually not a problem as it has a powerful bubble shield. The Pion is also relatively cheap and reliable, even for a HF vehicle.
