Healing

The power of psychic healing effectively combines empathy, psychokinesis, and telepathy, but is effectively its own separate power.   The Healer must be in physical contact with the subject. The act of psychic healing is intensely draining on the healer—even a broken arm can result in unconsciousness for some. Unless the injuries are extremely severe, there is little to no scarring.
Gestures & Ritual
The Healer must be in physical contact with the subject. Common tradition is for the Healer to lay one or both hands on the subject, but there is little evidence that this specific gesture is necessary. But it does have to be skin-to-skin. Healing cannot take place through clothing.

Effect Casting Time
Healing can begin immediately upon contact, and varies depending on the extent of the injury. A minor scrape will probably only take a second or two, even for the most novice Healer while severe injuries could take days, weeks, or months.

Applied Restriction
