General Summary

Following the defeat of the Black Hand 6 months ago, Brightport is in a period of flux. The new Mayor, Steven Warrick, has assembled a task force to help with jobs that the city guard may not be equipped to deal with. First up, breaking up an illegal gambling ring. The party enthusiastically takes the fight to the thugs but in the melee Guineveve accidentally stabs herself and the rest rush to get her help. They take her to the Mayor's house and Warrick directs them to an old Arch-mage who lives nearby. Fashir tells them of an experimental option for the deceased Guin and after little consideration he begins the procedure. Pouring a metallic symbiote of sorts onto Guineveve's body, it bonds with her, bringing her back to life. The Arch-mage is excited by the prospect and what will become of Guin will become apparent in the near future.
