Krukebi

Overview

Krukebi is a Gnome born and raised in Skagmarsh and is the owner of The Black Trident Inn. Before becoming the owner of the bar Krukebi spent of his life as a sailor on the merchant ship that would one day run aground and become the Black Trident Inn. He is a jovial and friendly individual, with a love of good food and drink. He is also known for his expert knowledge of the sea, and can often be found regaling guests with stories of his adventures on the high seas.

Krukebi's love of the sea began at a young age, when he left his small gnomish village to join the crew of a merchant ship. He quickly proved himself to be a skilled sailor, and over the years he worked his way up the ranks to become the captain of his own ship. However, after many years of sailing, Krukebi decided to retire and settle down. He bought an old ship's hull and turned it into the inn that he now runs with his wife and children. Despite his love of the sea, Krukebi is now content to stay on land and provide a welcoming home away from home for travelers.

Appearance

As a gnome, Krukebi is quite short, standing at only about 3 feet tall. He has unusually pale hair for a Gnome something he blames on the 'Sea Witches'. He has hardened brown eyes and a friendly smile that is often punctuated by a mischievous twinkle. He is quite plump, with a rotund belly that is often the source of good-natured jokes from his family and friends. Krukebi is quite agile, and despite his size, he is able to move quickly and easily. He is always impeccably dressed, and is rarely seen without his captain's hat.
