The first recorded war in the Gnomelands of 1453LA. Across Thera, it became known formally as the First Enkindling War, the Enkindling of the Gnomelands or simply the Enkindling. Within the Gnomelands it is more commonly referred to by several other names, including the Great Blaze, the First Red War and the Elf War.
Prior to this event, the Gnomelands had only ever existed as a quiet idyll and the ancient ancestral kingdom of all gnomefolk. Gradually, over many decades, tumult and unquiet began to bubble incessantly in the desolate, burning land of Rakhma.
