Phareac (faar-ack)
Phareac is the capital city of the Luisant Empire, and the largest city in Pyalea.
Geography
Phareac is located in eastern Champs Verdoyants in the Baie de l'Aube (Bay of Dawn) between the twin rivers of Sabense and Candensa, and bordering the Bienfaits Forest.
Access to the bay, rivers, and forest, as well as the plains to the north-east and mountains to the north-west, make for a wealth of natural resources. It's position at the entrance to central Champs Verdoyants and on the bay make it a central hub for the north-eastern region of Pyalea.
Administration
As the capital city of the Luisant Empire, Phareac is officially ruled by the reigning Empereur. The city itself is administered and run by a council of duc béni, whom each oversee a different region of the vast and sprawling city.
History
Phareac is the second oldest standing city in Pyalea, and was named as the capital and seat of the Empereur with the declaration of the Enlightenment of Pyalea and the dawn of a new age.
