Where is Thryntin?
Near the westernmost coast of Tachamund, Thryntin is on the warm southern reaches of Tachamund.
How is Thryntin classified?
Benevolent, but Fate is very strange in Thryntin. The local geomancers manage it entirely on their own. Trocsam has set up his theome as a kind of instructional venue for large-scale geomancy.
What kind of economy and population does Thryntin have?
There are a number of individual resource extraction facilities in Thryntin that are quite prosperous. There's an everquarry, two evermines, and a variety of different farms. Each of these can theoretically rely on perfect geomantic conditions at all times. In practice, the geomantic students who manage their blessings are imperfect, but they're still massively productive sites. None of these however power true economic strength, quite simply because they are small facilities.
The bulk of the economic importance of Thryntin comes from its Advanced Geomantic Academy. Teaching some of the most large-scale and far-reaching Fate manipulations anywhere on Theoma, the Thryntin School of Advanced Geomantics is famous across Theoma as a difficult to enter school serving geomancers who have already graduated from one of the lesser geomantic academies. TSAG doesn't offer its own graduation program; it just soaks up tuition until people stop paying for classes. Refusing to pay tuition means getting sealed out of most of the weave of Fate in Thryntin. The majority of the people who live long-term in Thryntin are geomancers who have thrived in the only theome where the land god has stood down to let lesser divinities do ALL of the Fate construction.
Thryntin has continual "perfect" weather due to its absolute coverage of highly professional land-based wind mages. This means that it's a warm, comfortable place to visit with balmy seaside airs. The rain that falls here is infrequent and beautiful in its own way. Some of its seaside communities have a tourist trade due to this abundance of perfect weather.
What is Trocsam like?
Trocsam incarnates as a vashael. He is known for two things. Firstly, lounging on the beaches of Thryntin. He does a lot of this and he's friendly to tourists. Secondly, giving lectures at the local geomantic academy. He considers this his day job. Trocsam tells geomancers who bother him on the beach to attend his classes and then not bother him outside of class.
Trocsam doesn't do favors for people and is generally a very hands-off land god. He only steps in to manipulate Fate if the local geomancers mess something up. Despite this, he sometimes alludes to being a pretty important land god in the greater weave of Theoma's Fate.
