Who is Taltios of Nidrio?
A simple farmer who lives in Baggil and Tekagol, Taltios is a Vrash farmer in all but species. Actually a Vashael and thus capable of bringing Vashael dancing implements to the field, Taltios works with zir spouse Grazil (who IS a Vrash) in a farm where the combination of their talents makes for easy, bountiful harvests. Kind of. Nothing is that easy in Tekagol, though it's still a decent life for one who takes ambition uncertainly and longs for wealth of a more physical nature.
What is wealth of a more physical nature?
Taltios is a very burly Vashael. As a child, zie was a forest runner who eschewed the common aerialism of the Vrash for ground athletics. As an adult, zie loves that the Vrash love their strength and have a lot of physical challenges in their idea of a good festival. Zir own body is to Taltios a tremendous wealth, and zie is a person of very fortunate health. Zie doesn't always use dancing implements, for that matter; some of the farm work is more fun done bodily! Taltios might rather pull a plow than enchant a plow to pull itself.
How did Taltios get zir surname?
In the village community where Taltios now lives, zie is the only person from Nidrio, and being from Nidrios is the most unusual thing about zirself. Far more unusual than being a Vashael. That's really all there is to it. The "Of Nidrio" appellation is highly prestigious in its own right and would get double-takes in most communities, but Tekagoli farmers are very egalitarian people who hardly notice, so it's just where Taltios is from.
