Swaivshon Underground Metallurgist Alliance

What is the Swaivshon Underground Metallurgist Alliance?

The SUMA is a secret guild of metallurgists who supply a range of truly superior metals for constructing large structures with. They are a very powerful trade guild operating in the underground theomes of Kelkaith, in which domain the Swaivshon Underground Metallurgist Alliance struggle to arrogate to themselves a monopoly on the production of the special alloys used in producing the most awesome examples of swaivshon architecture. Where the swaivshon have built cities that reach dramatically higher than the constructions built up elsewhere on Theoma, it's because they secured the cooperation of the Swaivshon Underground Metallurgist Alliance in creating their buildings with metals of a quality that nobody else on Theoma can claim.

Where is the Swaivshon Underground Metallurgist Alliance?

On the surface, nowhere. They operate solely in the deep underground, far from the surface of Kelkaith, and one of the terms of negotiation which they pursue very heavily is an agreement to secrecy. Only the swaivshon-dominated communities are supposed to build the grand structures enabled by SUMA alloys.

That said, there are a number of theomes which obviously bear the marks of heavy trade with them:

  1. Radath and Atney
  2. Gruent and Jiasote
  3. Jadarkontalyia and Hydalath

This list is very, very far from exhaustive. Massive architecture is the mysterious specialty of the swaivshon communities.

What is the reigning ideology of the Swaivshon Underground Metallurgist Alliance?

The SUMA are Swaivshon supremacists... kind of. They believe that the stereotypically affectionate and gentle natures of the swaivshon are the superior nature for anyone to have. In order to protect the swaivshon and give them every advantage, the SUMA maintain a base of secret economic power that they use in a very biased fashion throughout Kelkaith.

The SUMA theoretically accept non-swaivshon who exemplify the right nature while having skills relevant to the metallurgist guild, which has resulted in a minority of Kalla, Vrash, and Myrghon, but they are mostly swaivshon.
