Where is Fathesti?
Just south of the Graggle Cliffs and west of the mouth of the River Joylim, Fathesti is the first point where the coastline reaches the water level again. There'd be a port here, but the ground is difficult to use mixture of highlands and swamps.
How is Fathesti classified?
Fathesti is a missing theome. Some geomancers have speculated that the vibrant swamp ecosystem is being tended by a land god who is subtle and avoidant of contact with visitors, but if so, they've raised no protest to minor settlement of Fathesti.
Just to be safe, Querent-Querent has advised against disrupting the swamps of Fathesti. Construction in the theome is confined to its northern hills.
What kind of population and economy does Fathesti have?
Fathesti can't host a port due to the swampland, but it does host a landing zone in the hills near the Graggle Cliffs. The landing zone sells lodgings, food, and some travel supplies. Fathesti is the customary midpoint for travel between the model city of Shibanyet and the famed destination Zyrine.
Due to the entirely flight-based nature of travel through Fathesti, the local population is 80% vashael, 20% vrash, with no representation of other species.
