Who is Denziu the Clayseller?
A cheerfully muddy dragon happy to make friends, Denziu's love of mud extended in an unusual way as zie developed a collector's curiosity about the soil underfoot. Zie pestered zir tutors to teach zir EVERYTHING about how soil matters, and so learned a lot about such things as kinds of soil for planting, kinds of clay for ceramics, and even kinds of soil for pigments.
How did Denziu get zir surname?
Denziu wanted to make a living off of zir knowledge of soil qualities, and begged so much for such an unusual specialty that Praoziu eventually enchanted a wagon to fly for Denziu's use. This was to enable a peculiar kind of heavy, low-value cargo to be pulled profitably into the market... and so Denziu literally sells soil! In truth, the actual soil sales are typically supernumerary to the actual work, and Denziu is often working as a consultant for farmers, but a few of Denziu's customers are potters who buy wagonloads of literal clay from Denziu. Zie also sells a personal line of pigments.
Where is Denziu originally from?
Denziu is one of the children of Praoziu, who did a very unusual thing by marrying Taisach. This could have entitled Denziu to the rare and prestigious "Denziu of Nidrio" name, but Denziu is much happier being Clayseller Denziu.
