Missions/Quests Completed
☑ Main Quest: Serafina’s Visit
- Party had the day off after the Corelli heist
- Party met back up for dinner that night
- Zayd was sweeping a lot. Like. A lot.
- Everybody was pretty secretive about what they did during the day
- Jarryn said that Osrick has news for them
- The next day, the party fended for themselves for breakfast
- Serafina shows up during breakfast
- She was in ‘disguise’
- She greeted Inigo with a hug. It got a little awkward when she tried to kiss him
- Serafina asked what the party found out
- She is not familiar with somebody named Malek. More information needed
- Serafina had news to share
- Nico’s family was laid to rest in the family crypt
- The rumor of Inigo Costa being alive in Rialto had spread
- Nobody moved against the Bianchi family or any of the other Princes
- The meeting of the Princes was happening that night
- Serafina had an update on how to handle the Jailbreak problem
- The party should be fine, with the exception of Cassian, whose name was known
- She wanted to have Cassian return the seal and lie about being coerced
- Serafina was disappointed and angered that the Galli Seal was sold
- Suggested the party get it back
- Serafina was planning on going to the Princes meeting in place of her father
- Serafina needed to know what to tell the Princes about the Costa murder
- Truth: A blood mage and a shadowy noble did it
- Lie: A random killing spree by a madman who has been killed
- Lie: The Crows were paid to do it
- Lie: The Black Shadow did it because of Costa’s contracts with House Arainai
- The party chose to have her lie and blame the Black Shadow
- Inigo insisted that he wanted to attend the meeting
- Everybody thought it was a bad idea
- Serafina hope the party would convince him not to
- Serafina left
- Said to come see her if the seal is retrieved
- Otherwise, she will contact the party
☑ Main Quest: Den of Thugs
- The party decided to visit Osrick to see what he wanted
- Full party went, with the addition of Nico and Meraad
- Osrick was relieved to see them
- His store was robbed and vandalized
- Somebody painted the word SHIT over and over on the walls and floors
- Osrick wanted to assist the party with the ring, but needed to take care of his shop first
- Party agreed to track down the vandals
- Zayd found a trail of paint outside the shop
- The party followed the trail to a small rundown hovel near the canal
- Jarryn knocked on the door
- An Elven Thug answered the door - it was the woman who was previously outside of Osrick’s
- She refused to let the party in
- Zayd shoved his foot in the door and kept trying to convince her
- The party failed to intimidate or persuade her
- A fight broke out
- All of the thugs were knocked unconscious
- Nico asked for help stabbing somebody without killing
- Found Osrick’s stolen goods
- Found other stolen goods and took them
- Party painted the thugs
- Wrote ‘SHIT’ on them
- Jarryn drew a turd
- Jarryn also learned his first written word - Shit
- Returned everything to Osrick
- Osrick thanked the party and told them he had an update on the blood mage ring for them
☑ Main Quest: The Alchemist
- Osrick locked up his store and took the party to the Market District
- On their way by the Juicy Bungalow, Meraad took Nico home
- Wanted to talk some sense into him
- Or otherwise keep him from trying to go to the meeting of the Princes
- Osrick too the party to a shop called Perfect Mix
- Sign had a picture of three vials of colored liquid
- Inside was a small space with a table and chairs, a counter, and shelves of vials behind the counter
- Met Rafe, the ‘security’ for the shop
- He was pretty disinterested
- Met Greer Wallace, the owner of the shop
- She was excited to meet everybody
- Greer went to the back of the shop to retrieve something
- Rafe confirmed to Osrick that he and Greer were ‘not together’
- Greer returned with a ring that was similar to Tessa's ring
- It had a different symbol on it
- Greer did a test on both rings and confirmed that they were the same
- Both made of silverite
- Forged and crafted by the same smith
- Something strange about them
- Greer got her ring from a corpse about a month ago
- She thought the corpse was a Crow
- Assumed the ring was stolen by the Crow before they were killed
- Inigo barged into the store after escaping Meraad
- Greer took a look at Inigo’s family ring
- She could tell it was part of a set
- She knew it was made of some unknown gem/crystal
- She also thought there was something else strange/interesting about it
- Greer told the party to come visit again some time
- She will sell ingredients and potions
- And poisons (according to Rafe)
- Party returned home and Osrick went his own way
☑ Main Quest: The Calm Before
- Party gathered for dinner and discussed their day
- Sorin cooked a pilaf dish for everybody
- He set aside an extra plate
- Alín arrived during dinner with a basket of sweet rolls
- Alín came to discuss Malek and share what information they had
- Malek Atan is his name
- Malek is a noble of unknown origin
- Malek lives on a secure estate outside of the city
- Alín doesn’t think Malek is a mage, but now isn’t sure
- Alín wants a book that was stolen from his own clan years before
- The book doesn’t have a title
- Alín isn’t sure of its exact contents, but knows it’s academic in nature
- Alín found out about Malek having it recently
- It was previously rumored to be at some research institute
- Faro
- The party went over their own notes and research
- Found a mention of Faro in a letter from Corelli’s
- Inigo said that Faro is some sort of exclusive library
- The party thought it would be a good idea to try to infiltrate the library
- They are limited in who can do this
- Serafina may be able to help
- Alín promised to help when the party moves against Malek
- They just want the book
- They provide a location for Malek’s estate
- They have a rough outline of the estate
- Party retired for the night
- They will discuss it further in the morning
- Some party members had private conversations
