The Astral Whisperings

Words of the Silenced Lords

General Info

Throughout the hazy Astral Plane, strange whispering can be heard, a collection of mismatched voices that speak of many things, mostly in patchy and nonsensical sentences. Some say that these whisperings are simply a random phenomenon, but even more say that these whispers are supposedly the whispers of the Lords, discussing matters of the Finite Races and other things alongside. Of course, the Astral Plane, the realm of thought and dream, has twisted these supposedly celestial conversations out of comprehension, mixing the Lord's conversations with the thoughts of all living beings on the Astral Plane. However, the most skilled code-breakers and sages are said to be able to break the code of the Astral Whisperings and hear with their own ears the voices of the great Lords... Of course, no one can know for sure if they have truly broken this strange otherworldly cipher...

Common Structure

Although many say that the ramblings of the Astral plane are completely random and that they follow no pattern, the Astral whisperings usually follow a strangely specific pattern. This pattern usually follows a seven sentence structure:   1st Sentence - The/a [NOUN] is/was [ING-VERB].   2nd Sentence - The/a [NOUN] was [ED-VERB]. OR [NAME] was [ADJECTIVE].   3rd Sentence - He/she/they/it [ED-VERB].   4th Sentence - [ADJECTIVE 1], [ADJECTIVE 1]. [ADJECTIVE 2], [ADJECTIVE 2].   5th Sentence - [VERB 1]   6th Sentence - [ADJECTIVE 3]   7th Sentence - Anew...

For Example:

The sword is falling... The mountain was ruined... They knew... Twisting, Twisting. Straining, Straining... Cold... Run, Run... Anew...
Surprisingly, most of the Astral Whisperings have a strange and eerie meaning, hinting to something darker than what is actually being said. It is unknown why the Astral Whisperings are encoded to have a strange dark tone, but, nevertheless, it is quite likely for one or more of the seven sentence groups to have a dark tone.
