The Battle of Kragzarg

The tyranny of Dragons over the nation of Khazan will end today. The Lords themselves have gifted us with this land and the very breath in our lungs! Today, we will not settle for just one! We will not cower to keep our lives, we will fight for our dignity and honor!

Towards the end of the Tyranny of Dragons, Ahra Katash led the siege of Kragzbarg and the Bed of Roses to free the nation of Khazan once and for all. Contrary to its name, this battle was not a true siege. Due to Dragonkind's greater mobility than the armies of the Finite Races, the battle quickly spiraled into an all-out dogfight. Without the great leadership and might of Ahra Katash, the first Dragonslayer, the battle for Kragzbarg would have most certainly been lost; However, simply watching Katash slash through every Dragon in her wake was enough to increase morale among the mortal ranks and lead them forward to victory.

The Conflict

The Battle of Kragzbarg was primarily fought in two locations: the Bed of Roses and the ruined streets of the capital of Khazan, Kragzbarg. This demanded the mortal races to be prepared for battle in both urban and jungle terrain.

Conditions

Due to the lushness of the Bed of Roses, the elemental breath of the dragons began to turn conditions into a living hell for the warriors of the Finite Races. Portions of the grove began to become frozen or melted, and much of the area burned down in a scorching blaze. The conditions within Kragzbarg were not much better, as the Dragon had holed themselves up in some highly defensible positions within many a ruined building.
