A Sip of the Void

Within even the mad and twisted logic of the Far Realm, good food and drink should accompany luxury. Although, the notion of "good food and drink" may be a bit different in the Far Realm than it is in the confines of the Wraith Globe. There are a few select members of the Finite Races who have not only seen the Far Realm but have become one with its utterly alien nature. These individuals are beings of two worlds, having at least a fundamental understanding of both the Wraith Globe's and Far Realm's respective logics. To welcome others that are on the same journey of absolute understanding that they were once on, they give a simple gift: a bottle of what is colloquially known as Void Wine. Capable of emptying the stomach completely and sobering an average individual of the Finite Races within a few sips, this wine has an appearance of swirling inky pure black blended with umbral purples. It is even said that a glass of Void Wine can cause a Lord or Lady of the Wraith Globe to feel hunger and thirst, something completely underheard of under normal circumstances.

Execution

Outside of the members of Finite Races who were "born again" in the Far Realm, commonly referred to as the Void-Mad, Void Wine holds no truly special purpose within the Far Realm. Even among the Void-Mad, the introduction of Void Wine represents a truly special occasion: a new mortal joining their ranks. Furthermore, a Void-Mad may or may not allow their "new member" to keep the bottle of Void Wine as a keepsake, but most do choose to do this. After a member of the Void-Mad distributes a bottle of Void Wine to the new initiate or initiates, they usually inform the other Void-Mad through any means they may prefer.
