What is known of the Ancients

These beings govern most of the world, each in their own way, with their own style of government. they are all unique in appearance and magical abilities, but they all share a large size, typically from 4 to 10 meters tall. They can lend powers to mortals and take them away with the touch of their hand. they all also radiate magic, altering the land subconsciously. each sacred one surrounds its domain with a force field, to keep people in, and out.
the force field isn't a physical barrier and serves more as a tell for people to know where to border lies. People are gifted the sign of their lord at birth on the forehead, and it tells them when they venture outside of realms permitted to them, although it by itself isn't strong enough to prevent travel or track the location of people.
The sacred ones are all very powerful beings with abilities such as the manipulation of matter, there are clear limits to their power tho, although it isn't common knowledge what exactly this limit is, however, when in physical contact, there isn't much they cant do to you.

Appearance and Bodily funcions

They appear as humanoids, but their bodies are merely a manifestation of their energy, since they are beings of pure power, therefore they have no internal organs, and their sensory parts are merely for show. this also means they have no need for eating or drinking. As for their senses, it isn't exactly known what their capabilities are, but they have excellent senses, far above what humans are capable of.
