Rayne

Rayne, the sacred lord of the Rayne land, is called such, because it rains there periodically, like on a schedule, rains that are caused by Rayne. He is not a very involved ruler, but he does come out of his mountains occasionally to attend his people and to give instruction, and perform his inspections. The ability he grants his loyalists is to predict the rains, and whatever else may come with it.
his lands are surrounded by mountains on all sides, and central to it there is a river, with many tributaries, a couple of big navigable ones. despite the sacred rains, granted by Rayne, the west on his realm is still much wetter than the east, the east being a hot arid plain, with only periodic rains, often short and not very heavy, but every now and then, a monsoon arrives, which makes all of the Rayne lands turn green, for at least a while.
